It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Ghanm (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about "al-'utull az-zaneem." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It refers to a person who is physically strong and robust, healthy, has plenty of food and drink, oppresses people, and is gluttonous.

Benefits: … Allah Ta’ala is describing the blameworthy characteristics of those who deny and do not obey. One such trait is mentioned: {عُتُلٍّبَعْدَذٰلِکَزَنِیْمٍ} … He is harsh-tempered, and in addition to that, he is also notorious. (Surah Al-Qalam: 13)
