بَابُ: «وَاتَّقِ اللهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ.....»Chapter: "And fear Allah and conceal [the matter] within yourself..."
Hadith 8711

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا تَقُولُ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا لَنَا لَا نُذْكَرُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كَمَا يُذْكَرُ الرِّجَالُ قَالَتْ فَلَمْ يَرُعْنِي مِنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا وَنِدَاؤُهُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ قَالَتْ وَأَنَا أُسَرِّحُ شَعْرِي فَلَفَفْتُ شَعْرِي ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ إِلَى حُجْرَةٍ مِنْ حُجَرِ بَيْتِي فَجَعَلْتُ سَمْعِي عِنْدَ الْجَرِيدِ فَإِذَا هُوَ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ الْمِنْبَرِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ فِي كِتَابِهِ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا [سورة الأحزاب: ٣٥]
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I said to the Noble Prophet ﷺ: What is the reason that we women are not mentioned in the Noble Qur’an as men are? Then suddenly, on the same day, I heard you ﷺ and your voice was raised on the pulpit, I was combing my hair, I wrapped up my hair right there and went into one of the rooms of my house, and your voice was coming from near a branch, so I listened attentively, you were saying near the pulpit: O people! Allah Almighty has said in His Book: {إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِینَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ۔۔۔۔َاعَدَّ اللّٰہُ لَہُمْ مَغْفِرَۃً وَأَ جْرًا عَظِیمًا}
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The complete verse is: {اِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمٰتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ وَالْقٰنِتِیْنَ وَالْقٰنِتٰتِ وَالصّٰدِقِیْنَ وَالصّٰدِقٰتِ وَالصّٰبِرِیْنَ وَالصّٰبِرٰتِ وَالْخٰشِعِیْنَ وَالْخٰشِعٰتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِیْنَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقٰتِ وَالصَّائِـمِیْنَ وَالصَّائِمٰتِ وَالْحٰفِظِیْنَ فُرُوْجَہُمْ وَالْحٰفِظٰتِ وَالذّٰکِرِیْنَ اللّٰہَ کَثِیْرًا وَّالذّٰکِرٰتِ اَعَدَّ اللّٰہُ لَہُمْ مَّغْفِرَۃً وَّاَجْرًا عَظِیْمًا۔} … Indeed, Muslim men and Muslim women, believing men and believing women, obedient men and obedient women, truthful men and truthful women, patient men and patient women, humble men and humble women, charitable men and charitable women, fasting men and fasting women, men who guard their private parts and women who guard (theirs), and men who remember Allah much and women who remember (Him), for them Allah has prepared great forgiveness and a tremendous reward. When men are commanded, women are also included with them, except for those rulings that are specific to men or women. In any case, in this verse, special consideration has been given to the encouragement and reassurance of women.
