Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is understood that this narration is marfu‘ (attributed directly to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). The complete verse is: {اِنَّالَّذِیْنَکَفَرُوْاوَیَصُدُّوْنَعَنْسَبِیْلِاللّٰہِوَالْمَسْجِدِالْحَرَامِالَّذِیْجَعَلْنٰہُلِلنَّاسِسَوَائَنِالْعَاکِفُفِیْہِوَالْبَادِوَمَنْیُّرِدْفِیْہِبِاِلْحَادٍبِظُلْمٍنُّذِقْہُمِنْعَذَابٍاَلِیْمٍ۔} Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah and [from] al-Masjid al-Haram, which We made for all people—equal are the resident therein and one from outside; and whoever intends therein a deviation by wrongdoing—We will make him taste of a painful punishment.
