بَابُ: «وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا»Chapter: "And the Qur'an at dawn—indeed, the recitation of the Qur'an at dawn is ever witnessed"

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} [الإسراء: 78] قَالَ تَشْهَدُهُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that Allah Almighty says: {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ اِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ کَانَ مَشْہُوْدًا} … And recite the Qur’an at dawn; surely the recitation of the Qur’an at dawn is ever witnessed. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The angels of the night and the angels of the day are present at this prayer.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In this verse, by "Qur'an" is meant the recitation; in reality, by mentioning the recitation of the dawn (Fajr) prayer, the command for this prayer is being given. The duties of the angels who record good and bad deeds are changed at the times of the Fajr and Asr prayers; both the arriving and departing angels are present at these prayers.
