(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that regarding the interpretation of this verse {وَمَاجَعَلَنَاالرُّؤْیَاالَّتِیْاَرَیْنَاکَاِلَّافِتْنَۃًلِلنَّاسِ} … And We did not make the vision which We showed you except as a trial for the people, he says: That what is meant by this is the thing which was in the state of wakefulness, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw with his own eyes when he was taken towards Bayt al-Maqdis.
