عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ {إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ} [التكوير: 1] {وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ} [الانفطار: 1] {وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ} [الانشقاق: 1] وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ سُورَةَ هُودٍ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wants to see the Day of Resurrection as if it is before his very eyes, let him recite these Surahs: Surah At-Takweer, Surah Al-Infitar, and Surah Al-Inshiqaq. The narrator says: I think Surah Hud was also mentioned.
