Hadith 858

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقْرِئُنَا الْقُرْآنَ مَالَمْ يَكُنْ جُنُبًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us the Noble Qur'an, except when he was in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah).
