It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man recited this verse: {مَنْیَعْمَلْسُوئً ا یُجْزَبِہِ} … Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it. And then he said: If we are recompensed for every bad deed, we will be destroyed. When this matter reached the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: Yes! (Recompense is given for every bad deed) but the calamity that afflicts the believers in this world, which causes them distress, is the recompense (for their sins).
