عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice for him.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … These verses will suffice for (protect from) standing in the night (qiyam al-layl), or from Satan, or from calamities; it is possible that sufficing from all these things is intended.
