Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by a man who was reciting the Noble Qur’an to the people. When he finished, he asked the people for something. Upon seeing this situation, they said: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." Verily, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever recites the Noble Qur’an, let him ask Allah Almighty through it. Soon there will come people who will recite the Noble Qur’an, but will ask the people through it."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Instead of "وَلَایَدْعُوْ", the wording in the narrations of Sunan al-Nasa'i and al-Mustadrak al-Hakim is: "لَایَرْعَوِیْ", and in this regard, the meaning is that he does not refrain from what the Noble Qur'an has prohibited. Some people have a great enthusiasm for studying the Islamic sciences, and to fulfill this desire, they study various Qur'anic commentaries and explanations of hadith, but no inclination towards practice is created within them. It should be firmly understood that the sole purpose of studying the Qur'an and hadith should be to act upon them. People should be invited towards them so that they may also act upon them.
