It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque and heard the voice of a man reciting (the Qur'an). He asked: Who is this? Someone said: This is Abdullah bin Qais. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, he has been given the flutes of Dawud (peace be upon him).
