Hadith 8354

It is also narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting a verse. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah have mercy on him, he has reminded me of a verse that I had been made to forget.

Brief Explanation
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik radi Allahu anhu, he says: Once we were reciting the Noble Qur’an; among us were Arabs as well as non-Arabs, those of dark complexion and those of fair complexion. Suddenly, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came to us and said: You are upon goodness; you are reciting the Book of Allah, while the Messenger of Allah is among you. Soon a time will come when people will exaggerate in reciting this Book beautifully, just as an arrow is straightened with great attention, but they will hasten to receive its reward (in this world itself) and will not defer it until the Hereafter.
