Narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: One day we were sitting in the Suffah when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and asked: Who among you would like to go early every morning to the valley of Bathan or the valley of Aqeeq and bring back two beautiful, large-humped she-camels from there without committing any sin or severing ties of kinship? We said: O Messenger of Allah! Each one of us would like that. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If any one of you goes to the mosque in the morning and learns two verses from the Book of Allah, it is better for him than two she-camels, and three verses are better than three she-camels, and four are better than four, and so on according to the number of verses, as many camels.
