عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيَّ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَبَعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Every prophet was given such miracles and signs that people believed in him because of them. What has been given to me is revelation; Allah Almighty has revealed to me. I hope that on the Day of Judgment, the number of my followers will be the greatest.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Every prophet was granted miracles and extraordinary matters according to the needs of his time, through which their truthfulness was affirmed. The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was also granted various miracles, but the greatest miracle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the Noble Qur’an, which has continued to astonish and confound people even after him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. During the blessed life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and after him, the majority of those who believed in him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were influenced by the Noble Qur’an. Now the fifteenth century is ongoing, yet the miraculous nature of the speech revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his own speech remains and will continue to remain.
