Hadith 832

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ فَمَضْمَضَ وَغَسَلَ يَدَهُ وَصَلَّى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) ate the meat of a goat’s shoulder, then rinsed his mouth and washed his hands, and then performed prayer.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The first practice of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was that he would perform ablution (wudu) with things cooked over fire, but according to his final practice, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam abandoned performing ablution with such things.
