عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنِ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فِي بَيْتِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمْ فَقَدْ حَلَّ لَهُمْ أَنْ يَفْقَئُوا عَيْنَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever peeps into people's houses without their permission, they are permitted to gouge out his eye.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the Qur’an and Hadith, great emphasis has been placed on seeking permission before entering someone’s house; even entering the house of one’s own parents without seeking permission is prohibited.
