Brief Explanation
Benefits: … For the purpose of upbringing, children should be greeted with salam. Furthermore, there is no difference between men and women in the matter of giving salam. However, if there is fear of any temptation (fitnah), then for the sake of upbringing, some expedient measure may be adopted as a matter of prudence.
