Hadith 8235

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ التَّثَاؤُبَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْظِمْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yawning is from the devil, so when any of you feels like yawning, he should restrain it as much as possible.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Yawning is a sign of laziness; the body becomes heavy, the limbs become slack, and the human appearance is distorted because of it. Therefore, it has been commanded to restrain it.
