Sayyiduna Suwadah bin Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I asked him a question, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that a camel be given to me and said: When you return to your home, instruct them to provide good food to the newborn camel calves during the spring season, and that they should also trim their nails so that when they milk the animals, they do not injure the udders of the livestock with their nails.
