حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ بْنُ أَبِي الزَّنَادِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ الزَّنْجِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ صَابِغًا رَأْسَهُ بِالسَّوَادِ
Zanji narrates: I saw Imam Zuhri, he had dyed the hair of his head black.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Imam Zuhri said: "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) commanded the dyeing of hair, and the most intense black color is dearest to us." … The Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) commanded the dyeing of hair, and the most intense black color is dearest to me. (Musannaf ‘Abd al-Razzaq: 20176)
