Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ten things are from the natural disposition (fitrah): trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the miswak, rinsing the nose with water and cleaning it, cutting the nails, thoroughly washing the joints and tips of the fingers, plucking the hair from the armpits, shaving the pubic hair, and performing istinja (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself). Mus'ab, the narrator, says: I forgot the tenth thing; it seems that it is rinsing the mouth.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: ... **Barajim**: Its singular is **burjumah**. By this is meant all those places where dirt and grime accumulate, and if attention is not paid, water does not reach there—for example: the joints and tips of the fingers, other joints of the body, and the lines of the palm, etc.
