Abu Habibah narrates from that man who had the honor of being a companion for four years, he says: I had some work, so I came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that I had applied khaluq fragrance. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go and wash it off. So I washed it off and then returned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: Go and wash it off and come back. So this time I went and descended into a well, took something made of flax, and wherever the khaluq was applied, I cleaned it with that, and then I returned to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Now state your need.
