وَعَنْهَا مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا تَقُولُ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ إِيَّاكُنَّ وَقَشْرَ الْوَجْهِ فَسَأَلَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ عَنِ الْخِضَابِ فَقَالَتْ لَا بَأْسَ بِالْخِضَابِ وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُهُ لِأَنَّ حَبِيبِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ رِيحَهُ
(Second chain) Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O group of women! Refrain from applying saffron to your faces. At that moment, a woman asked her about henna. She said: There is no harm in it, but I do not like it, because my beloved, peace and blessings be upon him, disliked its smell.
