It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Umayyah Damri (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cutting meat from the shoulder of a goat (with a knife) and eating it. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) was called for prayer, he performed the prayer and did not perform ablution. In another narration it is stated: Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) was called for prayer, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) threw away the knife and did not perform ablution.
