Abu Tamimah Hajimi narrated from a man of his tribe, who said: I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about the lower garment and said: Up to where should I wear it? He raised his garment up to the bone of his shin and said: Tie your izar up to here. If you refuse this, then keep it a little below this. If you refuse even this, then keep it above the ankles, because Allah does not like the arrogant and boastful person. Then I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about righteousness.
