(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ قَالَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ قُرْطٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ أُمُورًا هِيَ أَدَقُّ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّعْرِ كُنَّا نَعُدُّهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُوبِقَاتِ قَالَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ وَأَرَى جَرَّ الْإِزَارِ مِنْهَا
(Second chain) Sayyiduna ‘Ubada bin Qirt (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "You are committing such acts that, in your eyes, are finer than a hair, but during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to consider them to be destructive sins." Muhammad bin Sirin says: "He has spoken the truth, and I think that letting the lower garment hang (below the ankles) is also an example of this."
