It is narrated from Banana, the freed slave woman of Abdur Rahman bin Hayan Ansari, may Allah have mercy on him, that she was with Sayyida Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, when a girl was brought to her who was wearing anklets that made a sound. Sayyida said: Do not let her come to me; yes, if you cut off her anklets, then she may come, because I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a bell, and angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are anklets.
