أبواب الوضوءChapters on Ablution
فَصْلٌ فِيمَا رُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَSection on What Has Been Narrated Regarding That from Some Wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 807

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَسَقَتْهُ سَوِيقًا ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: تَوَضَّأْ يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ))
(Second chain) Abu Sufyan went to Lady Umm Habibah (RA), she gave him sattu to drink, he drank the sattu and stood up to pray, but the lady said: Nephew! Perform ablution, because I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Perform ablution after eating anything that has been touched by fire.
