Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever makes a picture will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and this will continue until he breathes life into it, while he will never be able to breathe life into it. Whoever pretends in a dream will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and this punishment will continue until he ties a knot between two grains of barley. And whoever listens to the conversation of people who move away from him (i.e., do not want him to listen), then on the Day of Resurrection, molten lead will be poured into his ears as punishment.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This is a point of reflection for those who spy, secretly listen to others’ conversations, record them, or are always searching for others’ faults. When an ant enters the ear, it feels as if a ship has entered; from this, one should realize how painful it would be to have molten lead poured in, may Allah protect us (al-‘iyadhu billah).
