Hadith 8031

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُهْدِيَتْ لَهُ حُلَّةٌ سِيرَاءُ فَأَرْسَلَ بِهَا إِلَيَّ فَرُحْتُ بِهَا فَعَرَفْتُ فِي وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْغَضَبَ قَالَ فَقَسَمْتُهَا بَيْنَ نِسَائِي
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a robe with silk stripes as a gift. He (peace and blessings be upon him) sent it to me. When I wore it and went (to him), I noticed anger on the face of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So I distributed it among my women.
