Hadith 7982

عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِضَّةً فَصُّهُ مِنْهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the ring of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was also made of silver, and its stone was also of silver.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is possible that the gemstone was also of silver and made in Abyssinia, or that there were different rings at different times—one ring’s gemstone being Abyssinian and another’s being of silver. In this way, the apparent contradiction between the two aforementioned narrations is resolved.
