Abu Kanud says: I obtained a gold ring, it came to me from a battle. I went to Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he placed the ring between his jaws, bit down on it, and bent it out of shape, and said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wearing gold rings.
