Hadith 7922

عَنْ قَتَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَعْجَبَ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ
It is narrated from Qatadah, he says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): Which clothing was most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: Striped (garment).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the Prophetic era, this striped cloth was woven in Yemen. Striped cloth does not appear dirty quickly, and such cloth also appears pleasing to the eye. And Allah knows best.
