Hadith 7920

عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) addressed the people while he had a black turban on his blessed head.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is understood from the narration of Abu Dawud that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was delivering a sermon on the pulpit, and he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had a turban on his head, and one end of it was hanging between his shoulders.
