عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ثَوْبٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ قَمِيصٍ
Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that among all garments, the most beloved to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing the shirt (qamees).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The shirt (qamees) is a very modest and beautiful garment; once a person puts it on, he becomes carefree. This garment is neither affected by running, nor does it cause any difficulty in performing any task.
