Hadith 7849

Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I was sleeping when a bowl of milk was brought to me. I drank from it until the milk began to flow from my fingernails. Then what remained, I gave to Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: O Messenger of Allah! How have you interpreted it? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It means knowledge.
