Hadith 7846

۔عَنْ اَبِیْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللّٰہِ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((بَیْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُوتِیتُ بِخَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَ فِی یَدَیَّ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَہَبٍ فَکَبُرَا عَلَیَّ وَأَہَمَّانِی فَأُوحِیَ إِلَیَّ أَنْ انْفُخْہُمَا فَنَفَخْتُہُمَا فَذَہَبَا فَأَوَّلْتُہُمَا الْکَذَّابَیْنِ اللَّذَیْنِ أَنَا بَیْنَہُمَا صَاحِبُ صَنْعَائَ وَصَاحِبُ الْیَمَامَۃِ۔))
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once I was asleep when the treasures of the earth were given to me, and two gold bangles were placed in my hands, which weighed heavily upon me and caused me great distress. It was revealed to me that you should blow upon them, so when I blew on them, they flew away. I interpreted this to mean that these are the two great liars between whom I am; one is the man of Sana’a, i.e., Aswad Ansi, and the other is the man of Yamamah, i.e., Musaylimah the Liar.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By the treasures of the earth are meant the empires of Caesar and Chosroes and the treasures of wealth and riches; these treasures were also granted to the ummah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And in Sana’a and Yamamah, two liars also claimed prophethood, but destruction was decreed for them.
