عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّ بِيَدَيَّ قِطْعَةَ اسْتَبْرَقٍ وَلَا أُشِيرُ بِهَا إِلَى مَكَانٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا طَارَتْ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَقَصَّتْهَا حَفْصَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخَاكَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ أَوْ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that I saw in a dream that there was a piece of silk in my hand; wherever in Paradise I pointed towards, it would carry me there. When Sayyida Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) related this dream before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: (The interpretation of this dream is that) your brother Abdullah is a righteous man.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … On 15 February 2014, my respected wife, Umm Maymun, passed away. Her friends saw very good and pleasant dreams about her. My respected father saw this dream about her at one o’clock at night: that she came home riding on such a mare which flew to our house, and she was wearing very good and beautiful clothes. As soon as she arrived, she began conversing with my respected mother. My father got up to meet her, and at that moment, he woke up. My father immediately woke up our mother and made her happy by narrating this dream, and after performing the Fajr prayer, he immediately went to my father-in-law’s house and narrated this dream to him.
