Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If bad omen were to be found in anything, it would be in a woman, a horse, and a house.

Benefits: … Allamah Albani rahimahullah writes: The meaning of this hadith is that there is no misfortune, lack of blessing, or bad omen in anything, because its meaning is that if there were any misfortune in something, then it would certainly be found in these three things, but in reality, it is not found in anything at all. Some narrations have been reported in such a way that misfortune is in three things, or that lack of blessing is only in three things. In fact, this is the abbreviation and alteration of some narrators. (Sahihah: 442)
