Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Taking bad omens is shirk, and each one of us may be afflicted by this suspicion, but Allah Almighty removes it through reliance (tawakkul) upon Him.
