Abu Zubair says: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said anything about bad omens and the contagiousness of disease. He said: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Every man's omen is in his own neck.
