Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no bad omen, no contagious disease, no evil in the owl, and no reality in Safar. A man said: O Messenger of Allah! When we put a scab-ridden goat among other goats, the others also become scab-ridden. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then tell me, from where did the first goat get the disease?
