الْفَصْلُ الثَّانِي فِي أَنَّ نَوْمَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنْقُضُ وُضُوءَهُ وَلَوْ مُضْطَجِعًاThe Second Section on the Prophet’s Sleep Not Invalidating His Ablution Even if Lying Down
Hadith 773

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slept in such a way that he began to breathe audibly, then when he got up, he performed prayer and did not perform ablution.
