وَعَنْهَا أَيْضًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الْمَرِيضِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِتُرْبَةِ أَرْضِنَا بِرِيقَةِ بَعْضِنَا لِيُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّنَا
Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this supplication while performing ruqyah (spiritual healing) for a sick person: "In the name of Allah, with the soil of our land, with the saliva of some of us, so that our sick may be healed by the permission of our Lord."
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Its method is that the one performing the ruqyah (spiritual healing) moistens his index finger with saliva, touches it to the ground so that some earth adheres to it, and then passes this finger over the wound or the patient, reciting this supplication at the same time.
