It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when it was said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that so-and-so is ill and is not eating food, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: Prepare a dish of bread crumbs mixed with broth and give it to him to drink sip by sip. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it cleans your stomach just as you clean dirt from your face.
