The daughter of the Companion of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Iyas bin Bukair (may Allah be pleased with him), Maryam, narrates from one of the noble wives of the Prophet (may Allah be pleased with her). She says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and said: Is Dhareerah a fragrance? I said: Yes. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) had it brought and applied it to a blister that had appeared between the toes, and recited this supplication: "Allahumma mutfi’ al-kabeer wa mukabbir as-sagheer atfiha ‘anni" (O Allah! Extinguisher of the great and Enlarger of the small, extinguish it from me). So the blister was extinguished right there.
