Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described the treatment for the disease of sciatica as follows: Take a black wild ram that is of middle age—not too old and not too young—slaughter it, divide the meat of its hip into three parts, and after melting it, that is, making a broth, drink it for three days.
