It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was struck by an arrow in the vein of his arm. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized him with the tip of the arrow using his blessed hand, and when swelling appeared on it, he cauterized him a second time.
