It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tariq bin Suwaid Hazrami (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! In our land there are grapes, we squeeze them (to make wine) and then drink it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No." I repeated my statement, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No." I said: "We seek cure for the sick through it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, it is not a cure, rather it is itself a disease."
