Ata bin Yasar narrates from a man of Banu Haritha that a man struck a peg into the hollow of his she-camel's neck, and he feared that it might die just like that, so he slaughtered it with the peg. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about this, he (peace be upon him) permitted him to eat it.
